Cozy Corner will have 1 spot available for a child over 2 years old on June 1st, 2025!
Hello! My name is Jaymie, though many of the children affectionately call me "Maymie." I was born and raised in Muskego and have a beautiful family whom I love and cherish. From my previous marriage, I have three wonderful daughters who are now adults. My husband, Matt, and I were blessed with a son in March of 2019, and we are also proud grandparents. Outside of Cozy Corner, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, caring for my pets, going out with friends, and planning getaways up north. I lead a simple, fulfilling life and treasure the people and moments that make it special.
My journey in childcare began in 1995 as an assistant teacher at a group center. I quickly became a Lead Infant Room Teacher, then moved into administrative roles as an Assistant Director and eventually a Center Director by 2008. Over the years, I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds and with various needs, including those with physical and intellectual disabilities, severe allergies, special diets, juvenile diabetes, and g-tubes. I've also pursued extensive professional development in business management, staff direction, and customer service. Despite these achievements, I longed for something more personal—and that's how Cozy Corner was born.
Cozy Corner was first licensed in 2013 and operated within my home. In 2020, we expanded by renovating our garage into the beautiful, functional space we now call our center. Every inch of Cozy Corner was built with love and care and stands as one of my proudest accomplishments. But the heart of our center is the children. I believe caring for children is my purpose, and I cherish each and every one who walks through our doors.
At Cozy Corner, your child will receive not only a strong educational foundation but also learn compassion, manners, respect, and life skills. I am committed to nurturing each child while offering a curriculum that challenges and inspires in a cozy, home-like setting. I encourage open communication with parents, support social development, serve healthy meals and snacks, foster confidence, and promote overall growth. This isn’t just a job for me—it’s my passion.
I maintain certifications in SIDS, SBS/AHT, CPR, First Aid, Food Service Training, and Child Abuse and Neglect. I also undergo regular background checks and receive routine visits from the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and 4C’s Food Program.
What sets Cozy Corner apart? I believe in the power of smaller groups, which is why I limit enrollment to a maximum of seven full-time children. This ensures each child receives more individualized attention, personalized learning, and reduced exposure to illness and conflict.
I hope to become an extension of your family and look forward to building a lasting relationship with you and your child!
Warmly,
Jaymie ("Maymie")

I strongly believe that a professional yet personal relationship with enrolled families plays a key role in every child’s success. At the heart of this relationship is open communication, which is why I use the Brightwheel app to stay connected. This childcare management app allows parents to receive their child’s daily reports—including meals, potty times, naps, photos, and videos. It also gives access to lesson plans, monthly newsletters, menus, and activity calendars. Parents can message me directly, check their child in and out, upload important documents, and pay tuition—all within the app. The best part? It’s completely free for all Cozy Corner families!
Cozy Corner has a few different spaces for the children to explore, including an Infant/Toddler Room, a Preschool Playroom and a large enclosed playground!
Cozy Corner proudly participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), a federal initiative that supports centers like ours in providing nutritious meals and snacks to children. As part of this program, we receive quarterly visits to ensure that we are meeting standards for food quality, cleanliness, and overall safety. I log attendance and meal details daily, and in return, the program reimburses a portion of the costs—helping us continue to serve healthy meals while keeping quality care affordable.
At Cozy Corner, children are offered breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack each day. For our youngest attendees, infant formula, cereals, and purées are also provided. We’re proud to serve a culturally diverse menu, which is posted in the center and sent home monthly so families can stay informed.
