COZY CORNER'S PROVIDER
Hello! My name is Jaymie, though many of the children affectionately call me "Maymie." I was born and raised in Muskego and have a beautiful family whom I love and cherish. From my previous marriage, I have three wonderful daughters who are now adults. My husband, Matt, and I were blessed with a son in March of 2019, and we are also proud grandparents. Outside of Cozy Corner, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, caring for my pets, going out with friends, and planning getaways up north. I lead a simple, fulfilling life and treasure the people and moments that make it special.
My journey in childcare began in 1995 as an assistant teacher at a group center. I quickly became a Lead Infant Room Teacher, then moved into administrative roles as an Assistant Director and eventually a Center Director by 2008. Over the years, I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds and with various needs, including those with physical and intellectual disabilities, severe allergies, special diets, juvenile diabetes, and g-tubes. I've also pursued extensive professional development in business management, staff direction, and customer service. Despite these achievements, I longed for something more personal—and that's how Cozy Corner was born.
Cozy Corner was first licensed in 2013 and operated within my home. In 2020, we expanded by renovating our garage into the beautiful, functional space we now call our center. Every inch of Cozy Corner was built with love and care and stands as one of my proudest accomplishments. But the heart of our center is the children. I believe caring for children is my purpose, and I cherish each and every one who walks through our doors.
At Cozy Corner, your child will receive not only a strong educational foundation but also learn compassion, manners, respect, and life skills. I am committed to nurturing each child while offering a curriculum that challenges and inspires in a cozy, home-like setting. I encourage open communication with parents, support social development, serve healthy meals and snacks, foster confidence, and promote overall growth. This isn’t just a job for me—it’s my passion.
I maintain certifications in SIDS, SBS/AHT, CPR, First Aid, Food Service Training, and Child Abuse and Neglect. I also undergo regular background checks and receive routine visits from the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and 4C’s Food Program.
I hope to become an extension of your family and look forward to building a lasting relationship with you and your child!
Warmly,
Jaymie ("Maymie")

Cozy Corner Child Care Center
Koda is our incredibly sweet female German Shepherd. As a puppy up through adulthood, she went through extensive training in obedience, agility, scent work and Rally. She earned her Canine Good Citizen Title and went on to become a certified Therapy Dog, visiting children and adults at medical facilities and nursing homes!
Barrett (aka Bear, Beary, Beary Boy) is our affectionate silver labrador retriever who has given us ten years of unconditional love (and hopefully many more)! This goofy dog thinks he's a lap dog, is very dosile and loves to give kisses!
Our friendly backyard hens are one of the many things that make Cozy Corner special! They live in a secure, enclosed coop and run with an additional safety fence, all located right inside our playground area. This allows children to safely observe them up close without the risk of being pecked. The children love helping collect fresh eggs, tossing the hens fruit vegetable treats, and watching their unique personalities come to life.
Not only do we value animals around here, we also plant a garden in the Spring! Here at Cozy Corner, children can develop an appreciation for animals, learn about responsibility and kindness, be educated on where food comes from, and experience the joy of connecting with nature!
